Apricot Raspberry Frangipane Tart

This tart was in the last issue of Martha Stewart Living. I'm pretty sold on anything with almond paste in, but add in apricots too! I had to make it. I think the first words out of my mouth when I took a bite of this were "oh dear Lord!" It is soooo amazingly delicious. This tart has a cookie-like pate sucree crust, a filling of almond paste and butter, topped with tart fresh apricots and raspberries. Oh yes. This was a naptime labor of love, a once in a while time-consuming, diet-ruining treat. And worth every bit.
